What Is An Executive Immersion Program?

The digital disruption of telecommunications is already underway, with even more radical changes just around the corner. As 5G becomes more widespread, the technology will power the internet of things, smart cities and autonomous vehicles. But even before we get to that stage, meeting a growing need for mobile data and seamless customer experiences will remain priorities for established telecoms providers. Startups, meanwhile, continue to innovate, building the products and services that answer to other key market demands such as expanding internet connectivity to underserved geographies. Our immersion program will educate you in all of these trends, connect you with the companies pioneering groundbreaking solutions and inspire you to turn your own company into a leading innovator capable of long-term growth.

What Will I Learn?

Our immersion program will show you how, why and by whom the traditional model of education is being disrupted. It will also teach you how to capitalize on the trends and technologies driving this digital transformation so that you can achieve innovation within your own organization. We cover topics such as:

E-Learning

Digital platforms are among the biggest disruptors of the education sector. Many of these portals cut out legacy institutions, using the scale made possible by the web to offer thousands of courses to anyone with an internet connection for a fraction of the cost of traditional providers. This new model of education challenges established academic organizations to adapt through building their own digital alternatives to the classroom or partnering with nascent tech companies.

Artificial intelligence

The application of artificial intelligence (AI) to education is making it possible to provide every student with a responsive, personalized learning experience. A powerful tool for teachers and independent learners, AI-powered platforms adjust to each student, providing them with a tailored program to increase engagement and improve outcomes.

The Evolution of Video

Although not a disruptive technology in its own right, video is proving to be one of the key mediums in the transformation of education. It is the delivery channel for thousands of online courses and is also often combined in innovative new ways with other digital media to create interactive experiences. Online video learning is now a major industry, with several companies vying to lead the sector.

Analytics and Big Data

Measuring and analyzing the learning process from all sides has become a key focus of digital education efforts. Data-intensive software-as-a-serivce (SaaS) applications are transforming many aspects of the educational sector, including administration of schools, student performance and parent-teacher communication. These platforms often work alongside other technologies such as artificial intelligence and video to provide a fundamentally new classroom experience.
