The World Presidents Organization needed a varied program that would be suitable for high-level executives from a range of backgrounds. The group wanted to meet both innovative, disruptive startups and leading Silicon Valley companies from “big tech”. The goal for the mission was for the participants to gain a full, holistic picture of Silicon Valley.
What We Did
SVIC built a three-day program for WPO. In sessions with a diverse roster of companies, the group covered topics such as the future of mobility, fintech disruption, corporate innovation culture, and artificial intelligence. The program showed participants how emerging technologies are not confined to any one group of industries but are in fact disrupting all sectors.
Results & Outcomes
As WPO’s program was wide-ranging, so were the learnings they took away with them. Not only did they hear from Ford what the role of autonomous vehicles will be in the future of mobility, they also saw how cryptocurrencies and fintech startups are fundamentally changing the financial services industry. In sum, the three-day experience provided first-hand insights on how innovation is practised today, and how innovation is now manifesting itself through industry disruption across the economy.
