What Customers Asked

California Association needed a highly educational program for a large student group from a variety of backgrounds and study courses. The Association wanted to expose the students to the modern practice of innovation and introduce them to the culture of the higher education institutions in the Bay Area.

What We Did

SVIC built California Association a three-day immersion program targeted to students. The group met leading higher education institutions where they learned about the study and practice of entrepreneurship, including a primer on the career paths that entrepreneurs can expect after formal study. Engaging, practical workshops in areas such as design thinking were included on the program to educate students in the methodologies that have become essential to anyone wanting to pursue a career in an innovation hub such as Silicon Valley.

Results & Outcomes

The trip provided the California Association group with an experience they could not have found anywhere else. The students left with their minds having been opened by a program which combined sessions on how startups raise funding with private tours of Stanford University and Draper University. This unique mix provided the group with an alternative framework within which to plan their future career and study decisions.
